palak daal...

Followed this recipe more or less. A fine meal, though I could use a better recipe for naan than this one, unless my problem was using olive oil instead of veggie oil... Any insight would be appreciated!

I lived with a fresh off the boat pakistani for 5 years and never perfected the daal thing (although I did learn how to call you 53 uncomplimentary things in Urdu).

good, healthy, cheap eats...

and mine always end up tasting like corn grits or crunchy rice cereal.

with no decent desi ("local" "indian" etc) place in sight...its a treat I rarely enjoy.
